Bread & Circus Wholefoods Canteen is located within the offices of 21 Fountain Street, Alexandria. It was a bit confusing trying to find the place as you have to enter either through the Campos cafe or the lobby of the no.21 offices. We parked at the Dan Murphey's because parking was full on the street. I was over 9 months pregnant, and we had my friend's baby in the car, so no, we weren't going to park far away. Plus it was raining and gloomy, not the best day to take a walk.

Blended Juice - the daily green
organic kale, spinach, cucumber, pineapple, lemon
and mint $7 small glass
My friend had this juice, and she absolutely loved it! I had a sip and my face screwed up like a prune! It was SO sour, but that's exactly how she likes it! Ridiculously healthy, this is definitely a drink for the sour lovers.
SANDWICH BOX - mustard mad biodynamic egg salad w/avocado and tomato $15
We shared this sandwich box, which is a great idea because it's pretty much DIY sandwich, so I could control the portions and the way I wanted to eat it. I ate it like a bruschetta. This was absolutely divine. I have major love for egg salads.
THE salads plate - Regular $16
Turns out you could order every single salad on the one plate, we couldn't choose so duh, we got everything. I'm a fresh-salad kinda girl, and everything on this plate had been cooked or grilled, so wasn't a massive fan of it, but I can't deny how tasty, and creative it was. Again, ridiculously healthy, and a great way to get kids to eat such a colourful plate of vegetables.
Soup - dreamy pumpkin sweet potato carrot & goats feta
w/ sage anise cinnamon and garlic - Side $8
This soup was DELICIOUS! The ingredients say it all. It was the perfect consistency, the perfect balance of pumpkin and sweet potato, and with buttered sourdough bread, ugh, I want this everyday.
All in all, I was very impressed by the service, food, atmosphere and overall quality of this cafe. I'm definitely coming back here when brunching with baby!
